12 Week CBT Weight Loss Group

Have you tried weight loss programs and found that you couldn’t keep up with a regimen or get results?

Introducing, a 12 week weight loss program based on CBT principles to help women prioritize eating healthy and exercising, self care, pleasure and fun.

My name is Dr. Katie O’Meara and I’m a clinical psychologist and mom of five. As a CBT therapist, I’ve helped women achieve wellness goals by changing their thought patterns and emotional reactions that stop them from eating well and taking care of themselves.

I’ve personally taken an interest in nutrition and exercise as a working mom aiming to stay fit, feel good, have fun, nourish myself, and reach fitness goals while managing my family and job as Director of my practice. I work with a team of dietitians and trainers to understand the strategies that best help women maintain or lose weight during this time of their lives, especially as hormones change.

We will meet for an one hour accountability group on Tuesday mornings in my Falls Church office at 8am and follow up with a 15 minute zoom on Fridays.

This group will be 5-8 people to create an intimate environment to share goals and obstacles. Each group I’ll share interesting recipes, supplements, podcasts, books and tips around exercise, nutrition, and self care.
